Chris Craymer has enjoyed an illustrious career as a photographer and TV commercials director.
He has been commissioned by numerous international publications including Vanity Fair, Vogue, Conde Nast Traveller and the New York Times. He has worked on multiple advertising campaigns for clients such as Clarins, Estée Lauder, Harvey Nichols, Neiman Marcus and Tiffany’s, has published four books, and has won a silver medal from the Association of Photographers. During his career he has photographed numerous celebrities including Anthony Hopkins, Kate Winslet, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Susan Sarandon and Johnny Depp. He has directed TV commercials for clients such as Billabong, Dove, Ponds, Jergens and Colgate, as well as web films for Vogue China, American Condé Nast and Tommy Hilfiger.
Chris wrote and directed the short film “American Romance,” which won six laurels on the film festival circuit.
In addition, he wrote and directed the award-winning short film “Gifts Of The Heart,” which won sixteen laurels. It was Winner at the Hollywood Just For Shorts Festival, nominated for Best Short at the Orlando Film Festival, Best Romantic Short at the Love Story Film Festival (London), Best Director at the Cutting Room International Film Festival, Best Film at the Cutting Room International Film Festival, and Winner of the Best Film at the Procida Film Festival. The film stars Tamzin Merchant (The Tudors, Carnival Row). In her lead role in “Gifts Of The Heart” she won Best Actress at the Global Independent Awards and Best Actor in a lead role at the Cutting Room International Film Festival.
